My name is Jami Jones, and I am the director of 1st Pres PreK! I moved to Muncie in 2001 when I attended Ball State to earn my Master’s Degree. I am married to Mike and we have one daughter, Mia. I have over 15 years of classroom experience including grades 1-9, with most of my time spent in Middle School Language Arts. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. Before taking this position, I was a stay at home mom with Mia. This gave me the opportunity to spend time on projects at church, volunteer with community organizations, and aid in Mia’s classrooms. Mia attended 1st Pres for three years, and we have felt like it is a family. |

Kayla McCullough 4/5 year old teacher Monday/Wednesday/Friday Tuesday/Thursday |
Mrs. McCullough is the all day 4/5 year old class teacher. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and experience in Special Education. Kayla’s engaging personality and infectious laugh have made the transition to First Pres an easy one. She has a dedicated work ethic and enjoys finding new ways to engage the students. Kayla has a love for Disney and incorporates that into her teaching and classroom. She and her husband Aaron have two children and several animals. |

Michele Barber Parents' Day Out & Toddler Time |
Michele teaches the Parents' Day Out & Toddler Time classes and has many years experience in the child development field. Michele received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University. Michele has extensive experience coordinating church based after school care and programming. Michele and husband, Brian, have 3 children; Michaela, Nathaniel and Olivia. Michele enjoys scrap booking, baking and cake decorating in her spare time. |

Carole Cardemon 4/5 year old teacher Monday/Wednesday/Friday |
Mrs. Cardemon teaches the Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-Noon class. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ball State University, taught kindergarten for 5 years and has served on First Presbyterian’s Pre-K Advisory Board. Carole is married to Chris and they have 4 children who have all attended First Pres Prek! Carole enjoys time with her family and is active with her children in their various activities. | |

Mrs. Maddox teaches the 3-4 year old Monday/Wednesay/Friday and Tuesday/Thursday classes. Binnette graduated from Ball State University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education in 2004. While attending BSU Binnette worked as a helper in our preschool. Experiences post-graduation from BSU include lead teacher East Madison Head Start, Developmental Interventionist with Down Syndrome of Louisville, First Steps of Indiana and Therapy Solutions LLC in Indianapolis. Mrs. Maddox is married with 3 children, two of which are graduates of our program. Mrs. Maddox’s warm personality and bright smile are engaging. |
